Host for Crafting Group

Position Description

Use your great social skills and crafting interest to host a fun crafting group activity! SPECTRUM’s Crafting Group (Queercraft) is a crafting group that works on portable crafts like knitting and beading, but also any other craft that can be carried to the meeting. Visit us on Facebook.

Hosts for the crafting group need to be LGBTQ-identified, since you would be working directly with members of our community.

NOTE: Before we interview you for this volunteer position, we ask that you come to at least TWO of the Queercraft events so that you can see whether this particular program is something that you would enjoy.

By volunteering as a host for SPECTRUM’s Crafting Group you are helping the LGBTQ community come together and meet new people with a similar love for making crafts.

Time Commitment

A two-hour block of time on Tuesday evenings.  The event runs 6 – 8 PM.

We are asking for a commitment to this position of at least 4 months.
