SPECTRUM Groups2019-02-02T15:05:37-04:00

Whether you’re thinking about coming out, newly out, or out for ages, this group provides an opportunity to talk, share and connect with others in the LGBTQ community aged 19+ in a safe, positive and supportive environment.

Each gathering will begin with a topic announced in advance and then provide time for mixing and conversation around the needs and interests of participants. Light refreshments will be available as well.

Beginning September 26, this group meets from 7-9 pm on the 4th Wednesday of each month in the Spectrum Community Space. For details: http://ourspectrum.com/converse-and-connect/

A chance for KW (Cambridge too) queers to get together and play board games. We also solve jigsaw puzzles, play with dinky toys, like Yo-Yo’s, and build with LEGO, as we meet up with old friends and make new.

Sponsored by SPECTRUM, Waterloo Region’s Rainbow Community Resource Centre, and held every Friday from 7 -11 PM at SPECTRUM, 283 Duke St W, Unit 210, Kitchener.

This social drop-in event is a great opportunity to meet other people, to talk about whatever you currently have on your mind, and to make new friends! Come and hang out with us in a casual, relaxing atmosphere where you can just be yourself! This event is ideal for you if you just want to socialize in an LGBTQ-friendly setting.

We typically talk about anything that comes to mind, from TV shows to languages to fairy tales to technology to music – and occasionally LGBTQ issues. We also have cookies and other (sometimes healthier) snacks to share. Feel free to drop in at any time between 2-5 pm. Everyone is welcome!
