SPECTRUM's Work

SPECTRUM offers a safe place where 2SLGBTQ+ individuals can be themselves and find community and supports. We do not receive any annualized government funding. As a registered charity, our work is supported by donations from individuals, businesses and organizations in our community, and grants. For more information on our financial situation, you can view our annual financial statements on our AGM page.

We are truly grateful for your support in keeping our doors open and allowing us to provide programs and services that have been life-saving for some members of our community.

BEQUESTS IN A WILL

SPECTRUM Waterloo Region’s Rainbow Community Space is grateful to receive bequests under a will. When the time comes to update your will – something that should be done every five years or when family connections change – it is time to consider what you would like to leave to the purposes that have the greatest significance to you. Read more here.

Rainbow Community Fund

SPECTRUM has an endowment fund with Waterloo Region Community Foundation (WRCF). Donations to this fund will help SPECTRUM be sustainable in the long-term. Each year, we receive earned income from the fund while the principal remains untouched. Learn more at www.wrcf.ca/spectrum or donate below.
