Additional Resources and Services

SPECTRUM offers a number of resources and services for transgender people besides support groups, including:

TRANSNAV GPS DIRECTORY

TransNAV GPS, an online tool to help trans people locate service providers and resources in Waterloo Region and beyond.

Gender-Neutral Washroom Map

Many public washrooms are labelled by gender. People who do not clearly conform to the gender with which they identify can encounter hostility when they use the washroom of their choice. This is why SPECTRUM has conducted a survey to create a map of gender-neutral washrooms in Waterloo Region.

Social Groups

In addition to support programs, SPECTRUM also runs social programs for members of the local rainbow community to connect and socialize in a space where they can be their authentic selves.

SPECTRUM News

Or contact us for other support

Our Transgender Services Committee is able to answer any questions by email that you might have about transgender-related resources in the region. If you have a transgender-related question, please contact us.

SPECTRUM offers a safe place where 2SLGBTQ+ individuals can be themselves and find community and supports.
